You Don’t Have to Carry It Alone

Support that Goes Deeper

I offer virtual therapy for women in Illinois and Missouri who are exhausted from being the strong one. My work is designed for women who are tired of over-functioning, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and carrying too much for too long — and are ready to heal the deeper patterns underneath burnout, relationship strain, and self-neglect.

A Whole-Person, Collaborative Process

My style is warm, engaged, and depth-oriented. Therapy with me is collaborative, which means we work together to better understand what is happening beneath the surface and identify the shifts that will be most supportive for you.

The process begins with a free consultation to determine whether the fit feels right. If we move forward, our early work includes a deeper, holistic assessment of your current concerns, history, patterns, relationships, nervous system, and overall stress load so we can create a thoughtful plan for treatment.

Depending on your needs, therapy may include insight, emotional processing, nervous system support, practical tools, and gentle accountability for making changes in daily life. Many clients begin to see change with weekly therapy for a few months, while deeper or longer-standing patterns may benefit from longer-term work. As we get started, I can usually offer a rough sense of the treatment path and timeframe based on your goals and needs.

When helpful and appropriate, I may also offer reflection questions or between-session practices to support integration.

What Therapy May Include

My work integrates a range of modalities and approaches, including:

  • Trauma-informed therapy to understand how past experiences may still be shaping present patterns

  • Parts work / IFS-informed therapy to help you relate to different parts of yourself with more compassion and clarity

  • Somatic therapy to explore how stress, emotion, and trauma are held in the body

  • Nervous system regulation to help you build greater steadiness, safety, and resilience

  • Relational therapy to better understand patterns in connection, boundaries, resentment, and emotional needs

  • Practical tools and skill-building for communication, boundaries, self-awareness, and daily functioning

  • Spiritually grounded therapy for clients who want space to explore meaning, purpose, faith, inner wisdom, and alignment

The Goal

The goal of our work is not just to help you cope better, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, heal the roots of what is keeping you stuck, and build a life that feels more peaceful, boundaried, connected, and true.

How I Support You

Individual Therapy Session

Individual therapy offers dedicated space to step out of survival mode and into a more honest, supported relationship with yourself.

Many of the women I work with are outwardly capable but inwardly exhausted — carrying the weight of work, relationships, caregiving, and expectations without enough room for their own needs. Therapy becomes a place to untangle what is no longer working, understand the roots of longstanding patterns, and begin making shifts that feel both meaningful and sustainable.

Depending on your goals, our work may include emotional processing, understanding protective patterns and different parts of yourself, nervous system support, boundary work, healing the effects of past experiences, and practical tools for change. When helpful, I may also suggest personalized reflection or between-session practices to support deeper integration.

Intake and Assessment

Therapy begins with taking the time to understand the full picture of what is bringing you in. In our early work together, I assess not only your current symptoms and stressors, but also the deeper patterns, life experiences, relationship dynamics, and nervous system responses that may be contributing to how you are feeling.

I may also explore factors such as:

  • Lifestyle habits and daily rhythms

  • Sleep, stress, and burnout load

  • Relational and family patterns

  • Identity, roles, and emotional labor

  • Coping strategies and protective patterns

  • Spirituality, purpose, and values, when meaningful to you

This helps us create a more thoughtful and personalized plan for therapy rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Why I Work Outside of Insurance

I offer private-pay therapy so I can provide care that is more personalized, flexible, and depth-oriented. Insurance often requires diagnosis-based treatment and can place limits on the focus or length of therapy. My work is designed for women who want more than symptom relief alone — women who want space to understand deeper patterns, reconnect with themselves, and create meaningful change.

A superbill is available for clients who would like to pursue possible out-of-network reimbursement.

  • Private-pay therapy allows for a more confidential experience without requiring a mental health diagnosis to be submitted to insurance.

  • Our work can be guided by your needs, goals, and pace rather than the rules, session limits, diagnosis requirements, medical necessity criteria, or external restrictions set by insurance companies.

  • We have more room to explore not only symptoms, but also the emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual factors shaping your well-being.

You do not have to keep carrying it all alone.
